Website Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains what information the website theduispecialist.com (“the Site”) collects, how the Law Office of Jeff Yeh (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses and shares it, and what choices you have. It applies to the Site only.
Who we are
The Site is operated by the Law Office of Jeff Yeh, a law firm in Los Angeles, California. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.
Information you give us
You can read the Site without giving us your name or contact details.
If you send a message through a contact form on the Site, we receive what you enter:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, on forms that ask for it
- Your message
The form also sends the address of the page you were on, the language of that page, and a few technical values that help us block spam and avoid duplicate messages.
If you call, text, or email us, or message us on LINE or KakaoTalk, we receive what you choose to send, such as your phone number, email address, or account name, and your message. Those services are run by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply to them.
How a website message reaches us
- A small program on our web server sends your message to the firm’s email inbox. The inbox is a Gmail account provided by Google.
- The program does not save your message on the web server. The server’s mail system may hold it for a short time while the email is being delivered.
- To limit spam, the server counts how many messages were sent from the same internet address (IP address) in each hour. It stores a scrambled code made from the address, not the address itself. It also keeps a scrambled marker so that the same message is not sent twice.
- These spam-control records do not contain your name, phone number, email address, or message. Old records are deleted automatically from time to time.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to see how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the Site.
- Google Analytics uses cookies. Through it, Google receives information such as your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page you came from.
- We also record when a visitor taps a phone, text message, email, LINE, or KakaoTalk link, and when a contact form is sent successfully. We record only the type of action and the part of the page where it happened.
- We do not send Google Analytics your name, phone number, email address, or message, or a date you enter in the DMV 10-Day Deadline Calculator.
- Before a page address is sent to Google Analytics, the Site removes the parts after “?” and “#”, except for standard advertising tags such as “utm_source” and “gclid”.
Google explains how it uses this information, and how you can opt out, on these pages:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services (opens in a new tab)
- Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab)
- Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab)
Cookies and storage in your browser
- The Site’s own code does not set cookies.
- Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so that it can tell visitors apart.
- Google Maps and YouTube players shown on the Site come from Google’s servers and may set their own cookies or use similar storage.
- If your browser’s language matches another language version of a page, the Site may show a small bar that offers that version. This check happens in your browser. If you close the bar, your browser saves the date on your device (in its “local storage”), and the bar stays hidden for 30 days. This is not sent to us.
- A date you enter in the DMV 10-Day Deadline Calculator stays on your device. It is not sent to us or saved.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site does not need cookies to work.
Maps, videos, and fonts from Google
- Maps. Some pages show a Google Map. When a map loads, your browser connects to Google, and Google receives information such as your IP address.
- Videos. Our Media page shows YouTube videos. A video player loads only after you press play, and it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com). The preview image of one video is loaded from YouTube when you view the page.
- Fonts. A few pages load a font from Google Fonts. The fonts on other pages are stored on our own server.
Google’s privacy policy applies to the information Google receives in these ways.
Server logs
The Site’s pages are delivered by servers run by our web hosting company. Like other web servers, they receive the technical information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. The hosting company may keep this information in server logs.
How we use information
- To reply to you and to consider your request for legal help.
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
- To protect the Site and its forms from spam and misuse.
Who we share information with
We may share information from the Site with these kinds of companies and people:
- Companies that provide services for the Site and our email: our web hosting company and Google (email, Google Analytics, Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Fonts).
- People who help the firm respond to you, such as an interpreter when you contact us in a language other than English.
- Others, such as a court or government agency, when the law requires us to.
Tracking across websites and “Do Not Track” signals
The Site’s own code does not follow your activity on other websites.
Google, whose services are built into the Site (Google Analytics, Google Maps, YouTube, and Google Fonts), may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. The Site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals or similar signals. It works the same way whether or not your browser sends one.
No attorney-client relationship
Contacting us through the Site, or by phone, text message, email, LINE, or KakaoTalk, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Law Office of Jeff Yeh.
Please do not include confidential or time-sensitive information in a website message. If your matter is urgent or has a deadline, please call us.

How long we keep information
- Website messages are kept in the firm’s email inbox, not on the web server. We keep them for as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our legal and professional obligations.
- Spam-control records on the server are deleted automatically, as described above.
- Analytics information is stored by Google under our Google Analytics account.
Seeing or correcting your information
The Site has no user accounts, so it has no online tool for seeing or changing information you have sent us.
To ask what information you sent us through the Site, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to keep some information to meet our legal and professional obligations.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information through the Site, please contact us.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, such as review sites, social media, and government agencies. This policy does not apply to those websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. The policy takes effect on that date.
